I look at current trends on the IT world to see how new practices could apply to us if it help us to provide better service to our customers. We could mention DevSecOps, Kubernetes, GitOps, Service Mesh, Observability, Supply chain security (from dev to prod). I also provide guidelines on implementations of our Aws resources, Kubernetes deployments.

The IT manager focus will be on making sure the IT infrastructure is robust and reliable, that the availability to our customers is at the highest levels. The team, spread over multiple geographies, is also responsible for the management of our internal environments and deploying new software releases in collaboration with development teams. The IT manager is responsible for leading, coordinating and structuring the IT support process (tools, documentation and calendar) and in direct control of higher escalation point of any major production issue (3rd line).

Design and Implementation of an environment PLC (power lines communication) authenticated and filtered through a centralized system. During this internship, I have work to add the PLC technology to a large building. This building beyond the scope of PLC technology and running on three phase. The implementation of authentication and filtering was done with Squid and DansGuardian.

During the "Integration Lab" My role in this work by a team of 10 people was the firewall, virtualization (VMware server), PXE, FTP server and mail server.
